The causes and prevention of tricycle rollover accident
1. Inappropriate loading
For instance, when loading if the goods are too high or too heavy on one side, which will cause the barycenter too high or deflective. And in transit if the goods moves, the barycenter will change. All these will cause tricycle rollover.
Prevention: when loading, unbalanced barycenter, ultra-height, ultra-width, ultra-length or overload are all undesirable. And the binding of goods should be solid.
2. Driving on slippery road
When tricycle drives on rain-slicked road or snowy pavement, the adhesive force between tire and road decreases, maloperation will cause tricycle rollover.
Prevention: if run on slippery road, please control the direction prudently and accurately; drive with low speed or medium speed. Also please avoid sudden turn and sudden brake.
3. Centrifugal force in sudden turn
Prevention: If drive on twisty road, please slow down and avoid overtaking and sudden brake. Recheck whether the goods is balanced and whether the binding is solid enough before driving.
4. Complex road condition
The probability of rollover accident on bumpy road is higher than flat road.
Prevention: Drive on bumpy road, please concentrate on road condition and control the speed and direction.
5. Mechanical failure
For instance, brake failure, wheel spun off or wheel shaft fracture can easily cause rollover accident.
Prevention: Please check and maintain tricycle timely and fully after driving; clear fault and hidden danger to keep the tricycle in good condition. Please recheck tricycle before moving too.
